So, welcome to I Have Powers. Thank you for taking the time to read the rules of the site. In this thread there will be rules about:

General
Posting
Battles
Rping

General

So, here we are at the first set of rules. These are general rules that will include rules about: behaviour, the c-box, signitures/avatars and profile rules.

Behaviour:
1. Respect all members. Its just common courtesy.
2. Please don't swear, at all.
3. Spamming of any kind is not allowed.

The C-box:
1. Do not impersonate. I can get hold of ip and ban members.
2. C-box avatars are allowed, to use one use the URL of the picture in the place you would normally put your site or e-mail.
3. No spamming.
4. No swearing.
5. Actions are allowed ie. *hits with a fish* or *shouts very loud*

Signiture/Avatar:
1. Signitures must show your character and must be no more than 500 width and 200 height.
2. Avatars should show your character but its not vital. They should be 100x100.
3. C-box avatars must be to do with your character and should be 50x50.
4. You may have one picture but as much text as you want in your signiture.
5. Please make sure your signiture shows your celebrity face claim. Your avatar can be anime etc.

Profile:
1. You do not have to put your gender.
2. You do not have to make your birthday shown.
3. You do not have to make your e-mail shown.
4. You should add "legend" in your application where it says "Keywords:"

Posting

Posting is an easy thing to do! Just please follow the rules.

1. Posts should be at least 100 words long.
2. You may colour your text, change the size and allign but it must be readable.
3. You may post a character tag in the first post. A character tag is something that defines your character like their name and a quote.
4. No swearing.
5. No double posting - if you need to add more use the modify button.

Battles

Battling make RPs fun but none of us like win-it-alls. Follow these rules for good battles.

1. No god-modding - you can't say "I shot a bit of ice from my fist and it stabbed my oponent". It is your oponents desicioin whether or not your attack hits.
2. You can't always dodge attacks and you shouldn't always be hit.
3. You can't just become more powerful than an elder. Your powers won't be fully developed.

RPing

Well, the point of the site. There are a few rules that affect rping.

1. No mary-sues or gary-drews - no on is perfect.
2. Act like your application. If you said your character hates confrontation and in a post say "He walked to the evil man and hit him" you will be warned.
3. You must not control another character saying "and Jenny walked up to me". If you want to let a character know you want to rp with them, put their name in the thread title.
4. You can suggest something like "He felt as though he was being watched and could hear rustling".
5. You must post in third person. That's he/she.

add "snow" to your application in the "Keywords:" section.
